COVID-19 UPDATE: Impact on LarsonEd classes and hours

ANNOUNCED ON 3/16/2020

  1. The DBPR, through an Emergency Order, has extended the 3/31/2020 real estate license renewal date to midnight on 4/30/2020
  2. PearsonVue testing company, who administers the real estate and CAM licensing exams, is closing for 30 days from March 17 to April 16. Here's a link from PearsonVue detailing how to schedule and reschedule exams -

At Larson Educational Services, we are following the "Safer at Home" guidelines announced on April 3 by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Gatherings of people should be limited to no more than 10 individuals until at least April 30, along with practicing social distancing, and only essential businesses shall remain open to the public.

As you can assume, these guidelines greatly impacts our brick-and-mortar classroom locations. In response, our devoted customer experience team is working as hard as humanly possible to handle student inquiries and schedule modifications.

ALL LarsonEd classroom courses scheduled through April 30 will now be offered on our online streaming platform, LarsonLIVE!

Students registered for April class dates will be contacted shortly by one of our Career Counselors with more detailed information.

As we do not know what will happen after the April 30 guidance, our plan as of right now is to continue classroom courses in May as scheduled.

As always, our enrollment policy is very flexible and your tuition payment is valid for one year. If you have any questions or would like to move your enrollment date to a future class date, or you would like to move to an online course option, please reach out to our friendly Career Counselors at 239-344-7510 or by email at [email protected].

Until further notice, our campus locations are closed to the public. Our Career Counselors are available for support by phone and email 8:30am - 3:30pm

Please do what you need to do to stay safe and healthy, and just know that we will do our best to accommodate any changes you wish to make. ~ Brad Larson

ONLINE Real Estate and Insurance Classes Available 24/7

If you're unsure about signing up for one of our classroom courses, or maybe you don't currently live in Florida, but you want to get your Florida real estate license or you need to renew you Florida real estate license, we offer all of our courses in an online format as well.

Not only do you get to complete the education on your own time, but if at a later you date you decide you prefer to come to one of our live classroom courses, we'll only charge you the difference in tuition to upgrade. You will not be "double charged" for purchasing both courses.

For example, our Sales Associate Pre-Licensing Online Course tuition is $245. If you purchase it today, but decide to upgrade to our Classroom Course in a month or two, you'll pay just $154. This means your total tuition paid is $399, which is the normal tuition for our Classroom Course.

LarsonLIVE - streaming classes coming soon!

EXCITING UPDATE from LarsonEd: We are currently working on getting all of our classroom courses DBPR approved for “Live Streaming.” What this means is that even if our students are not able to physically attend class at our Fort Myers or Naples campus, they’d be able to complete their education while still experiencing our awesome instructors and curriculum in real time! Same instructors, same curriculum, same customer service, same awesome experience. But all from the comfort of home.

Students will login to the LarsonLIVE portal where they will see:

  • a video feed of our instructor
  • the PowerPoints that follow the presentation
  • a chat room for communicating with the course moderator to ask questions and get clarification on the material being taught

Our plan is to be able to launch this new capability by the time our classes start back up on April 13, 2020. This plan includes ALL of our current classroom courses:

We’ll definitely keep you updated as we make progress on this and we’ll share how to get signed up for these classes as they become available. Stay tuned! ~ Brad Larson
