LarsonEd Campus Experience Team Member

We are searching for the right individual to assist us with the part-time customer experience team member at Fort Myers headquarters/campus located at 1400 Colonial Blvd. Suite#44, Fort Myers, FL 33907 (near the intersection of Colonial Blvd and Summerlin Rd.). This position is starting out as part-time with the potential to become full-time based on performance.

Primary function:

To assist in facilitating a company culture of creating AMAZING experiences for our customers by providing excellent customer service and assisting in marketing of the business through professional and courteous interactions with current and prospective customers. We absolutely LOVE what we do at Larson Educational Services because it is FUN! We need a teammate who wants to share in the FUN!

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have qualities - fun, energetic, loves to interact with people, excellent phone skills, service-orientated nature.
  • Trustworthy and honest - will handle cash and credit card payments
  • Flexible availability - our course schedule varies on a monthly basis so the schedule will be different every month.
    • 25-35 Hours a week except during holidays
    • Work hours will typically be 12:30 pm-6:30 pm during weekdays,
    • Potential to be asked to work mornings and weekends, flexibility to do so is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills - we are in contact with our teammates by phone and email
  • Excellent customer services skills - our administrators are the everyday greeters to our students and our students appreciate a happy, smiling face saying hello to them
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.


  1. $13-$15 per hour depending on experience
  2. Free tuition for LarsonEd courses (after 6 months of employment)

Core areas of responsibility:


  1. Manage class opening procedures for the first day of class, including checking in students, handing out course materials, answering student questions.
  2. Open classrooms hour prior to each class day and make sure classrooms are prepared for students and instructor.

Facility and Inventory

  1. Manage professional appearance of classroom, including layout of chairs and tables, computer, whiteboards, etc.
  2. Manage classroom materials inventory for items such as markers, pencils, calculators, scratch paper, whiteboard cleaner, paper towels, Kleenex, etc.
  3. Manage course materials inventory for items like books, exam booklets, exam answer sheets, handouts, etc.
  4. Light cleaning duties

Customer Service

  1. Manage student registration process on first day of class.
  2. Coordinate with teammates for no-shows and customer service phone calls that may need to be made.
  3. Comfortably communicate with students over the phone and face to face about licensing requirements.
  4. Availability to answer student questions or coordinate with teammates to get answers to students.
  5. Email marketing & correspondence and mail marketing
