What is Mutual Recognition?

In simpler words, if you:

  2. Are not a resident of Florida at the time of your application,
  3. AND Submit an application and fingerprints with payment...

You will be eligible to take the Florida Real Estate Mutual Recognition Exam.

The 7 recognized states are:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Connecticut
  • Georgia
  • Illinois

  • Nebraska

Alabama and Arkansas broker license applicants need 2 years of experience in the past 5 years as a real estate broker
