Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License Renewal Requirements
- All Florida CAM licenses expire September 30 of every even-numbered year. The next license renewal date is September 30, 2026.
- All Florida CAM licensees must complete 15 hours of CAM Continuing Education during each license renewal period. The next deadline for completing the 15 Hours of CAM Continuing Education is September 30, 2026.

The required CE topics are as follows:
- 3 hours Legal Update (LU)
- 3 hours Insurance and Financial Management (IFM)
- 3 hours Operation of the Association’s Physical Property (OPP)
- 3 hours Human Resources (HR)
- 3 hours of Elective* (ELE)
- CAMs who provide services to homeowner associations (HOAs) must complete 5 hours of CE that pertains specifically to HOAs, 3 hours of which must relate to the topic of recordkeeping.
- Our ELECTIVE topic provides a total of 5 hours of CE credit:
- 3 CE hours of HOA Recordkeeping, and
- 2 CE hours of Additional HOA Topics
*At Larson Educational Services, you can complete all the required CE hours, even those who provide services to HOAs, with the purchase of our CAM CE course package.
- EXEMPTIONS from CE:
- If you received your CAM license during the period of October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2026, you DO NOT need any continuing education for your first license renewal as you are EXEMPT from the CE requirement.
- If you have held your Florida CAM license continuously for at least 10 years and have never received discipline against your license, you are EXEMPT from the CE requirement.
- However, even if you are EXEMPT from CE, you will still need to renew your license and pay the license renewal fee of $105 for the 2026 renewal.
Steps to Renew Your Florida CAM License
- Complete 15 Hours of CAM Continuing Education. 15 Hours must be completed by September 30, 2024.
- Await submission of Continuing Education hours. Larson Educational Services, a Florida approved CAM Continuing Education Provider, will electronically submit your completed hours to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) after you finish the course. Processing of your completed hours will take 1-3 business days.
- Go to the DBPR website and renew your license. Click this link to login to your DBPR account.
- Pay your renewal fee. On the DBPR website, you will need to pay the $105 License Renewal Fee to complete your renewal.
