***WHY IS THIS COURSE 17 HOURS WHEN THE CAM CE REQUIREMENT IS 15 HOURS?***
That is because the Florida Legislature passed a bill in 2024 that requires CAMs who provide services to homeowner associations (HOAs), to complete 5 hours of CE that pertains specifically to HOAs, 3 hours of which must relate to the topic of recordkeeping.
- This means that CAMs who provide services to HOAs must complete a TOTAL of 17 Hours of CE for their next renewal in 2026.
- To keep things simple, we now provide our CE course as a 17 Hour package so that it covers all your required hours, whether you work for an HOA or not.
- With this strategy, CAMs who do NOT currently work for an HOA, will still get the required CE hours in case they work for an HOA in the future, without the need for additional coursework.
